blogging is so hard for me to do....especially lately but I will try harder.

I am now working as a CNA at the Lutheran Home and loving it. I have realized that this is definitely not what i want to do long term, I aspire to go further, but for now, this is what I feel I NEED to be doing. I have had 2 opportunities in the last 2 weeks to reach out spiritually to people and it has been wonderful. Once was to an inactive member of our ward that I discovered that I work with. The other was to a dying resident, when she allowed me the opportunity to pray with her. I will be keeping close tabs on both of these people to allow for further opportunities.

My Sister

Ok, so I am so excited. My sister has been on my mind a lot lately. We have not always been close and have definitely had our share of difficulties over the years. Anyways, I asked her tonight if I could send her a Book of Mormon and she said yes. She said she prayed the other night because she feels like she has hit rock bottom and she prayed for help from Heavenly Father. We have had a great talk this evening and I asked her to pray for guidance from Heavenly Father about the Book of Mormon and that if the Missionaries did visit her, to please give them a chance to share with her the message that they had. So, please keep her in your prayers.

ok, so I have absolutely no idea on how to navigate around this blogging thing, so any help that could be sent my way would be greatly appreciated!!

Today's Lesson

Today at Church, I listened to a wonderful lesson by a dear friend. It was amazing the thoughts that came pouring over me and as I have reflected on it since then, I am truly amazed by the joys and blessings in my life. My testimony has grown so much since we have moved to Iowa and am so thankful for the friends that I have made here. I am finally feeling like I am where I belong. I know that the future is uncertain but I know that Heavenly Father will help me and my family get to where we need to be, no matter if that is here in Iowa or Idaho, or somewhere in between. So, thank you for being my friend and for the love and friendship you bring into my life!!

I cannot believe it.....

Ok, so I cannot believe that I have been sucked into the blogging world. I would listen to you ladies talk about blogging and would think, "who the heck has time".....but I obviously have some time today so I figured I would try it out and see if I could be as creative as y'all are.
